This laser is designed for use in DWDM direct modulation transmission
systems for more than 100km transmission. The DFB laser is packaged
in a "butterfly" type module that has a built-in optical
isolator, a monitor photodiode, a thermoelectric cooler and thermistor.
Selected wavelengths specified to the ITU-T grid is available.
